Immerse the customer in Japanese culture without giving up the Piedmontese soul, in a highly refined space down to the smallest details, including the lighting. This is the goal of the project for the Japanese restaurant in the city of Avigliana.

In the field of catering more than in many others, the eye also wants its share. Where food is prepared and served, lighting is a fundamental aspect, and it is just as forbidden to dress a dish in shadows as it is mandatory to choose the right shades for each room, in order to provide the customer with a satisfying experience not only for the palate. Among the projects carried out by the architect Piero Gianotti Prat of Studio Associato QSA, there is the one for Le Petit Restaurant Japonais in Avigliana (province of Turin), whose fundamental premise was to create a welcoming and functional space where the focus was entirely on the exclusive preciousness of traditional Japanese cuisine. A warm and comfortable, yet minimalist and clean ambiance. The restaurant has two rooms, and for each of them, the ideal solution was Creative-Cables lighting, with the combination of Cage chandeliers and Floating bulbs.

The main room - with its 3.2m vaulted ceiling and exposed bricks - had dark spots in unfavorable areas. Thanks to the black Rose-One rosette and the powder-colored textile cable, which harmonizes perfectly with the masonry, light was brought into the vaulted centers, creating an orderly and symmetrical design in the room. Four lamps were created using Cage - the patented component whose simple shape allows cables to be "caged," creating spectacular and original suspensions - as the support point for the creations.

These are the products used in the central room of the venue, available in various colors.

The same atmosphere was recreated in the second room of the restaurant, smaller in size with a ceiling height of 2.7 meters. Here too, to maintain the same consistency, the main features were the two Cage chandeliers and the Floating bulbs. All elements were black, from the ceiling rose to the cables, from the sockets to the chandelier structure, for the final explosion of light from the bulbs.

Available in different sizes, Floating bulbs have the filament hidden on the edge of the globe, creating a surprising decorative effect. The one used has a diameter of 15 cm and is ideal to become the protagonist of a single suspension or together with others from the same series.
