Tutorial #6 - How to assemble the porcelain lamp holder?

One of the latest novelties presented on our site was Fermaluce Classic 90°, an innovative adjustable light point composed of our porcelain lamp holders and rosette, also available assembled with the Swing enamelled metal lampshade. The glossy finish and cheerful pastel colors of the porcelain emit a great warmth, the same that can be found in a pendant made using the lamp holders of the same material.

The wiring of the porcelain lamp holder, available in different colors, is very simple, although different from the other lamp holders we have seen in the previous tutorials.
As we have already seen for the other lamp holders, the first operation to be carried out in order to connect the porcelain lamp holder is to separate all the parts of the lamp holder, threading the previously stripped cable through the cable clamp and the rear body of the lamp holder. Unscrewing the front part in porcelain, which also acts as a "plug" to lock the other components, it is possible to extract the contact block: we insert the copper filaments into the appropriate terminals.
Tightening the terminals with a screwdriver, we can reposition the contact block in the body of the lamp holder, where there is also the threaded part with standard E27 ready to accommodate the bulbs.
This simple wiring operation is almost complete. We close, screwing back the front part, the body of the lamp holder and position the cable clamp so as to hold the textile cable firmly: our porcelain lamp holder is ready. Easy, right?
