Modern lighting: how to increase the value of a home with lamps

Whether you have a property to sell or to rent, the objective is the same: increase its value while minimizing expenses through targeted renovations. Among these renovations is the clever use of lamps for a modern and stylish lighting. Here are two examples from one of our loyal clients, a professional home stager.

Dozens of TV programs, "highly watched," on this theme, show it: some well-targeted interventions can completely transform a house, allowing the owner to sell or rent it, not only concluding the deal quickly, but also selling at a higher price than the market value. Two examples of apartments in the Turin region (both about 50m²) lit with our products. These two properties were rented on the first day of the visit: in addition to increasing the value of the apartment, modern lighting indeed added character to each room, allowing for photos that immediately caught the attention.

Color bands

In the first apartment, the light designer worked on three elements that gave character. It's impossible for your eye not to be drawn, when you enter, by the three-armed spider and the pattern formed by the burgundy cables on the ceiling. The goal was to move the light from the center to the table, and the result was achieved with an alternative solution to the traditional spider, by drawing 3 parallel lines with the cable, creating a true geometry of color. The canvas lampshades, personalized by the home stager, provided a soft ambient light perfectly directed towards the table.

In the living room, another lighting element helped enhance the room. In this room, there was a need to decorate the walls above the sofa, an area that would have remained too empty. This is how, thanks to the use of a dimmer switch, a reading and TV corner was created. The metallic effect bulbs provide soft lighting through reflection.

An ambient and modern lighting also in the bedroom, thanks to the two UFOs decorated by the illustrator, Carolina Zuniga, which add a personal and romantic touch to the bedside. Neutral-toned UFOs at the foot of the bed to move the light onto the wall.

A 100% Creative Installation

The main lighting in the second apartment, designed by Creative Cable, greets the visitor at the entrance with the warm light of the Spider two-arm lamp with visible bulbs.

A two-armed Spider in the living room both illuminates and decorates. In this case as well, the canvas lampshades from Creative Cables were placed inside the grey dibond creations by the home stager, softening the light while focusing it on the table. The two ample waves of the cable also furnish the space.

In this room as well, the idea of the three UFOs was revisited, with a dimmer, to help create the right atmosphere for each occasion. The two side UFOs were created in collaboration with the illustrator, Chiara Fucà, while the central one was worked on by the mosaic artist, Michela Nardin, using plaster and white gold glass shards from the historic Venetian glassworks, Orsoni.

In the first room, a jute Spider complements the warm wood tones, with the 3 arms matching the wood of certain details in the room.

But it's in the second room that the cable becomes a drawing. The historic "line" by Cavandoli brings the power from the outlet to the desk, illuminated by a Spostaluce.
