Lamp holders and joints were created with IP65 protection degree to resist water and rain, whilst the neoprene cable and the Schuko plug are the best option for outdoor environments. Please note: the IP65 protection degree is only guaranteed with A60, ST64, G95 and G125 shaped lightbulbs (constantly updating) and the EIVA lamp holder was exclusively designed to hold glass LED lightbulbs.

Which material was used for these cables?

Our outdoor UV resistant cables are equipped with a flexible conductor in red electrolytic copper with a double elastomeric rubber coating which allows the product to withstand temperatures ranging from -25°C to +60°C.

What does UV resistant cable actually mean?

It means the fabric used to line these cables was designed to not only endure but fully resist UV rays, which make up around 10% of sunlight. The colour of UV resistant cables remains vibrant and doesn’t tend to fade over time, even when they are consistently exposed to sunlight. This also means that prolonged exposure to sunlight will not result in the deterioration of the product’s materials and performance.

Is this lamp water resistant?

Yes, the Eiva Snake with Harbour lampshade is completely water resistant and designed to withstand heavy rains and storms thanks to the lamp holder’s IP65 protection degree.

How does it work?

It’s a suspension lamp that connects to electricity through a Schuko plug. It comes with a 5 m cable which gives you space to hang it in any corner of your patio, terrace or garden based on your needs and preferences.

Features of the Harbour lampshade

The Harbour lampshade is made from enamelled metal and available in different colours. Its 38 cm diameter and openings around the lamp holder ensure ample light diffusion to create a striking illumination effect, The enamelled finish makes the product easier to clean and more resistant to bad weather.
