Mario Tubo rossa porta accanto alla poltrona una luce direzionale che può essere avvicinata, allontanata e orientata in base alle necessità. La base triangolare e la lunga asta costituiscono una struttura inclinabile essenziale, dove equilibrio e movimento sostituiscono snodi e sistemi elettronici di regolazione.
La lampada può essere inclinata con l'aiuto del piede e sollevata facilmente con un dito per trovare la posizione più adatta. L'asta può inoltre essere inserita nella base in entrambi i versi, offrendo diverse configurazioni, mentre il portalampada magnetico può essere spostato liberamente lungo la struttura. La finitura rossa mette in risalto le geometrie di Mario Tubo e le conferisce una presenza decisa nello spazio.
Anche il faretto può essere regolato grazie al doppio aggancio magnetico: un magnete lo collega al portalampada, mentre il secondo si unisce alla sfera magnetica in dotazione, consentendo di inclinarlo e ruotarlo con grande libertà. Posizionata accanto a una poltrona o a un divano, Mario Tubo permette così di controllare sia la posizione della lampada sia la direzione precisa del fascio luminoso.
